We visited HIPPOKAMPOS for a couple of nights and made a short hop to Buzzard Rock Marina. When we secured ourselves at the transient dock we saw a large banner hanging from the outside dining deck announcing they were closed. Being that it was a beautiful Sunday and around brunch-time we decided to investigate further on foot. Sure enough they were open, but forgot to take the banner down. So….. before giving up and shoving off to another destination we had a nice lunch looking out over the marina. The cruise on HIPPOKAMPOS (actually more of a sea trial) from Green Turtle Bay to Buzzard Rock was uneventful, as we hoped it would be.
